10 years ago, my wife (friend at the time) certainly got my attention telling me this was her dream to drive.....
Panther Pink HemiCuda.

any cool car we can think of but in pink
or white with some type of pink accents

The wife always likes the 911 when she sees one.

Agreed.
Really cool rides survive pink.

When I started dating my wife, her dream car was a 3000GT. Now it is this in TT variety...
I was hoping to be able to buy her one for our 10th anniversary...but that came and went. Maybe I'll shoot for 15th anniversary.
![]() 01/14/2014 at 13:27 |

I don't have either, but my best friends dreamcar is a ruby stone red 911

Subaru Impreza. She literally doesn't want to talk about getting anything except a Subaru. Not that I mind. But I'd like to get an Audi instead...

Not my girlfriend. She wants a Porsche 924, or a Volvo C30.

She still and always wants the Mini.
...but before, she wanted this Celica

I'm a 911 fan.
It's gotta have a tail, though.

She wants a purple Challenger. My only requirement is a V8 under the hood.

My wife goes apeshit over Audi R8's especially in velvet purple

Don't just go.
Go BIG.
![]() 01/14/2014 at 13:34 |

Single at the moment, but my ex liked 'large' cars. SUVs mostly. Bigger was better. Her daily driver didn't (and doesn't) resemble this, but that soul sucking silver ~2000 Corolla hatch was dreadful on its own. As you can tell I'm not sad it's over between us.

My wife hates trucks, hates old cars, hates projects, hates a high seating position, hates low gas mileage, and hates going off road.
Yet for whatever reason her dream car is a first gen Bronco. The female mind is unfathomable.

Very tempted to troll this post with Wife: X car
Girlfriend : Y car.
I just keep thinking of that old tercel ad that was on here like a year ago "Girlfriend pregnant, wife mad, must sell all my toys"...lol.

I might have to do this for my wife someday.
Although she would take an old E-body with a small block.

Oh well, if we are going dream dream...then my wife wants a Bugatti Veyron. First time she saw one online (or it may have been on Top Gear), she fell in love with it.

I remember that car when new. My relatives own a VW/MB franchise, and my cousin drove one.

I had a Challenger SRT8 in Hemi Orange and my wife never let me hear the end of it that I should of bought it in purple.
after a couple of months I realized that purple was actually a much nicer color than orange.

I have a feeling I'll be doing the same.
Any Pink E-body left is probably snatched up.

Her tastes are slightly off from mine, but loving an insane Lambo named after the devil himself can't be a bad thing, right? (Yes, I know about the bulls)

It was a Corolla.

Girlfriend- Dream truck Jeep CJ7
She already has her dream car, it just needs to be restored and rally-fied-
![]() 01/14/2014 at 13:54 |

Wife's dream car:
We already owned it. Without a warranty. We got too scared that something big would fail so we got rid of it. But I facilitated it and even traded my 2011 5.0 Mustang in on it. Really enjoyed it for the time we had it, but in the end the 4-door Jeep we bought did a lot of the same "drive over shit" stuff this did, just not as comfortably.

Well, my wife's first car was a 510, so if a vintage Bluebird showed up after I win the lottery, I'm sure she wouldn't mind...
She loved her old Festiva, so I could get her a couple of them with the change in my ashtray.
I'm certain that if an Abarth or Miata mysteriously appeared, she'd be damn happy.
![]() 01/14/2014 at 13:55 |

My wife isn't a car nut in any capacity at all, but if I put a BMW 2002 in the garage for her to drive, she'd love it. That's the one car that whenever we pass one, she points out.

My wife's favorite dream car. Her car she would want to actually drive is the odyssey that we have. I do the "lottery hypothetical" with her and she says she would pick the odyssey. no fun!

My wife wants a 458 if I ever buy her a car. Safe to say, that day may never come

Nice.
Mine has an AWD CX-9 right now, which is perfect for our family around town and on trips and has given us 125k great miles so far. Hope to take it to 200 or 250k before we move on.
I'm just glad she's not opposed to me having a fun car and getting out and using it.

My badass wife wants a Datsun 510 wagon.
Right now, we're in the market for a cheap truck (want to do Datsun for that too, but they're a bit more pricey than, say, a late 80's - early 90's Ford Ranger, or so it would seem).

I wish my wife wanted that car! I have one in Black and she refuses to drive it, go figure.

My wife, like a lot of wives I'm sure, wants a Range Rover Sport. I tell her that I hope she likes sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow-truck. Right now she is happy with her little Scion though. I'm hoping to convince her to get a Camaro SS when it's time to upgrade, would go well with my Challenger R/T.
![]() 01/14/2014 at 17:28 |

yeah...i don't know why she doesn't pick anything besides the van. She does love that S7 though.

Not My GF, since she doesn't really "know" or "like" cars. One of her friends though. she's a different story! She wants a red '69 Impala SS Conv. With the 396, and a 3 on the tree slushbox. White interior and all. This girl is just amazing fun to be around!

After years of driving fairly boring cars of nondescript colors (Chevy Citation, Dodge Omni, Saturn Somethingorother, Toyota Camry, Honda Civic Sedan, my wife bought her a beautiful 2014 Mazda 6 GT. Of the colors offered, she only considered black and red. Once she saw the red one, that's the one she had to have. Before she bought it though, she asked me; "Do you think a 60 year old woman should drive a red car?"
What's really funny about my wife's automotive history is that in the early '80's she was driving a late '60's Nova SS 350. Blue with white stripes. She now knows what she had, and wishes she still had it.

My wife wants an Alfa Guilietta. Awesome.
![]() 01/14/2014 at 20:41 |

A Raptor is high up there for her. She drives a F-150 FX2 Ecoboost but we were originally trying to figure out if a Raptor was at all possible.

Whoa, they're four doors?
I feel like I've only seen em in two door flavor with a slightly shorter wheelbase...?
Sweet car either way - I wish we had em in the States.
![]() 01/14/2014 at 23:21 |

Dunno for sure, but this pic is labeled as a Guilietta and it's the one she told me to use. *shrug*
Also, turbine wheels....awesome.

First gen SHO. If not that a ~99 SHO. If not that a current SHO. Shes a lady who likes her fast Ford sedans
We're also thinking about getting a fox body together for shits. Gotta have louvers though

its what you get with a gearhead for a dad I suppose. Shes on her second 99 taurus right now, its about half original and about half better parts swapped from her old 99. I hope we get that mustang...

The wife doesn't really get too worked up about cars. One of the very few cars I have seen her go out of her way to say "we should think about getting something like that" is the 53-4 Packard Caribbean:
The (imaginary) girlfriend wants me to pick her up in an F40LM:
![]() 01/16/2014 at 16:17 |

Imaginary? It's only ok if she talks to you.....
![]() 01/24/2014 at 11:11 |

The girlfriend wants one of these:
Which I am OK with. I told her it's a nicer Viper. Which I am also OK with.

MT just road tripped both. They seemed to dig the Vipe just a hair more. But if my girl had an SLS I wouldn't kick her out....
